SP1 Hybrid vs SP1 Carbon Evo?

Shell. Hybrid uses pre-preg carbon/fiberglass blend — lighter than pure fiberglass, not full carbon. Carbon Evo uses autoclave-cured pure carbon — lighter still, handbuilt using Schuberth's F1 process. Same SDL visor, same Pinlock 120, same comms-ready interior. Evo is the premium tier; Hybrid is the entry point into the SP1 family.

Is the 12-channel ventilation effective?

Yes — Schuberth's channel system is among the best in the FIA8859 category. The aerodynamic design draws air through channels rather than relying on manual intake vents; works better at speed than at low-speed paddock use.

How does Schuberth comms integration work?

Cable ducts run through the cheek pads to recessed ear cutouts. Route a third-party comms system through the ducts, or use Schuberth's own plug-and-play electronics kit (ordered separately). Clean setup — no visible wiring outside the helmet.

HANS anchors not included?

Correct — the M6 threaded hardware is in the shell but the anchor posts themselves are not included. Order Schuberth-compatible M6 posts separately before your first event.
