The RS7 Ultra Carbon is Bell's HP7-derived full carbon helmet — same platform as the HP7 FIA8860, SA2025 and FIA 8859-2024 certified. 14-channel ventilation, SmartLock visor, SE07 DSAF shield, rubber gasket seal. The closest you get to an HP7 without crossing into FIA8860 territory. Available without duckbill — duckbill version is a separate SKU.

• Ultra-lightweight premium carbon composite shell — HP7-derived platform; same high-pressure molding process as the HP7
• SmartLock visor system — locks visor under impact, one-handed release
• SE07 3mm DSAF shield — Double Screen Anti-Fog; 5mm+ optical-grade visor in field of vision; tear-off compatible
• 14-channel ventilation — top and chin bar intakes plus extraction. Optional forced air intake kits (8-hole or 10-hole) sold separately.
• Synthetic rubber gasket seal — seals eyeport against rain, water, debris
• Multi-density liner — multi-piece construction; FR interior
• Integrated accessory channels — drink tube and radio mic routing
• HANS/FHR anchors — pre-installed M6 factory fitted

FAQ

RS7 Ultra Carbon vs RS7 Pro?

Shell material. Pro is composite; Ultra Carbon is full carbon — lighter and stiffer. Same HP7 platform, same 14-channel ventilation, SmartLock, and SE07 DSAF. If weight matters for long stints, go Ultra Carbon.

RS7 Ultra Carbon vs HP7 FIA8860?

Same design platform, different certification tier. The HP7 is FIA8860-2018 — required for F1 and some top-tier WEC/IMSA categories. The RS7 Ultra Carbon is SA2025/FIA8859-2024 — sufficient for nearly all other racing. The HP7 is also heavier due to FIA8860 construction requirements. Unless your series mandates FIA8860, the RS7 Ultra Carbon is the smarter buy.

Standard or duckbill?

Standard for closed-cockpit, GT, and most racing environments. Duckbill adds aerodynamic downforce in open-wheel/formula cars where the helmet sits in the airstream — sold as a separate SKU.
