The Sparco ADV XT is a high-performance carbon fiber racing seat engineered to meet the FIA 8862-2009 standard—the highest level of seat homologation defined by the FIA. This certification requires the seat to withstand dynamic impact forces equivalent to approximately 70G, making it suitable for use in GT and other top-tier motorsport categories. Constructed with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber, the ADV XT is designed to offer both maximum strength and weight efficiency. It is capable of withstanding over 6,600 lbs (3,000 kg) of lateral load. The seat incorporates an integrated energy-absorbing system in critical stress areas to enhance driver protection during high-impact events. The seating geometry features a more relaxed back angle tailored for GT-style cockpits, prioritizing driver comfort in long-duration racing. The entire seat is upholstered in self-extinguishing fabric, with non-slip material applied to the shoulders and seat base to improve driver stability under lateral loads.
