Sparco Air Pro RF-5W SA2020 — Closed-Cockpit Racing Helmet
The Air Pro RF-5W is Sparco's closed-cockpit focused SA2020 helmet — wider eyeport than the RF-7W and above, purpose-built for maximum instrument and mirror visibility inside a car. Carbon-Kevlar/fiberglass composite construction. Multiple exterior vents routed to both cool the driver and direct airflow toward the visor for anti-fog. SA2020 certified (no FIA dual cert on this model).
WHAT'S INSIDE THE SHELL:
- Carbon-Kevlar/fiberglass composite shell — stronger than pure fiberglass; balanced construction for the price point
- Wide eyeport — RF-5W designation; designed specifically for closed-cockpit use; larger vertical field of view for dashboard and instrument visibility
- Multi-point external ventilation — air channels route airflow toward the visor to minimize fogging and cool the driver
- Removable, washable interior — FR-rated padding; Black or Red lining
- Comms and hydration routing — available for endurance integration
- HANS/FHR anchors — pre-installed M6 factory fitted
CERT: Snell SA2020
NOTE: SA2020 only — no FIA8859 dual cert on this model. The Air Pro 1977 RF-5W is the same helmet in a retro graphic colorway.

FAQ
What makes the RF-5W different?
The wider eyeport. Sparco designed the RF-5W specifically for closed-cockpit where dashboard and cockpit visibility matters. It's not the lightest Sparco option, but the sightline advantage is meaningful in a GT or touring car.
Can I use this for open-wheel?
Yes — SA2020 is accepted across all disciplines. But the wider eyeport is less aerodynamically optimized than a narrower open-wheel shell.
Air Pro RF-5W vs Air Pro 1977 RF-5W?
The 1977 is the same helmet in a retro graphic colorway. Functionally identical.
